Anna Lowvey is a 30-year-old mum who has been diagnosed with stage 3 brain cancer. Anna underwent surgery to remove a 6cm tumour from her brain. After spending three long weeks in the hospital, fighting to regain her strength and independence, Anna was finally able to return home to her family. During this time, Anna and Jake were faced with an unimaginable decision. After countless discussions with her doctors, Anna was advised that continuing her pregnancy would not be safe due to the aggressive treatment plan of radiation and chemotherapy required to fight her cancer. This heartbreaking decision was another devastating blow for Anna and Jake. Anna and her partner, Jake, were in the process of buying their first home. But were unable to move forward with it as they then had to use the money for Anna’s treatment.

We are organising a special giveaway event aimed at bringing the community together to support Anna and raise crucial funds for their treatment and ongoing care.

OUR PLAN

Sharp Projects is going to do a not-for-profit bathroom giveaway valued at $30,000 for a home located on the Central Coast to raise funds for Anna. Tickets valued at $100 will be available to the public and advertised across social media, flyers, newspapers and spread across the central coast.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the Sharp Projects $30,000 Bathroom Renovation Giveaway (the "Fundraiser"), you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

Fundraiser Overview
The Sharp Projects $30,000 Bathroom Renovation Giveaway is a charitable initiative designed to raise funds for Jake and Anna as they navigate Anna’s treatment. The prize is a bathroom renovation valued at $30,000, which will be completed by Sharp Projects in collaboration with the following trades:

    • Plumber: Paul Blackley, 72 632 859 655

Referred to herein as “the Trades”.

This Fundraiser is not only an opportunity to receive a beautiful bathroom renovation, but it is also a chance to contribute to a larger cause that will provide essential support to Anna and Jake during this difficult time. Sharp Projects, in partnership with the Trades, is proud to support Anna and Jake through this generous initiative, and we thank everyone who participates in helping us achieve our goal.

  1. How to Enter
    To enter, you must purchase a raffle ticket for a cost of $100. Each ticket purchased grants one entry into the Fundraiser. There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase, and each additional ticket purchased increases your chances of winning.

  2. Fundraiser Period
    The Fundraiser begins on 4/04/2025 and closes at 13/06/2025. 

  3. Winner Selection and Draw
    The winner of the $30,000 bathroom renovation will be drawn on 13/06/2025 at 1700. The draw will be recorded. The winner will be notified via telephone and email within following the draw. The winner will also be announced on the Sharp Projects Instagram page (@sharp.projects).

  4. Prize Details
    The prize consists of a bathroom renovation valued at $30,000, which will be completed by Sharp Projects in collaboration with the Trades, and others as necessary. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any additional costs associated with the bathroom renovation beyond the prize value of $30,000 will be the responsibility of the winner (see below for further details).

  5. Prize Transferability: In the event the winner does not own a property, they have the option to award the bathroom renovation prize to a person of their choice who does own a property (the “Recipient”), subject to approval by Sharp Projects. The Recipient must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in these terms and conditions.

  6. Prize Limitations: The $30,000 prize is strictly for the renovation of the bathroom only. Any unused balance of the prize will not be awarded as cash, nor can it be used for renovations in any other part of the property. The prize is non-transferable and is strictly limited to the scope of the bathroom renovation. Any additional expenses related to the renovation, including but not limited to asbestos removal and any other structural issues uncovered during the renovation, may be the responsibility of the winner or Recipient. Sharp Projects will discuss with the winner or Recipient and agree upon these potential costs with the winner before proceeding with any work. Sharp Projects, together with the Trades, will work with the winner or Recipient to select the design and finishes for the bathroom renovation, ensuring the final design stays within the $30,000 budget.

  7. Location Requirement: The winner or Recipient must live within 100km of Bateau Bay, NSW. If the winner or Recipient’s residence is beyond this radius, they will forfeit the prize and a new winner or Recipient will be drawn.

  8. Winner Responsibilities: The winner or Recipient must be available to have the bathroom renovation commence within 12 months from the date of notification. The winner or Recipient is responsible for ensuring access to the property for the completion of the renovation. Please note that Sharp Projects, together with the Trades, will work with the winner or Recipient to schedule a mutually agreeable commencement date for the renovation. While every effort will be made to begin the renovation as soon as possible, scheduling conflicts, holidays, or unforeseen delays may result in a flexible start date. Sharp Projects will communicate any adjustments to the timeline and ensure both parties are in agreement before commencing work.

  9. Time Frame: Sharp Projects will work with the winner or Recipient to schedule a mutually agreeable time for the renovation. While every effort will be made to complete the renovation within 12 months, unforeseen delays may occur, and Sharp Projects will notify the winner or Recipient in such cases.

  10. Receipt Information: Please note that the Fundraiser is not considered a charitable donation, and as such, no tax-deductible receipts will be provided. The funds raised through ticket sales are being used to support Jake and Anna directly. We greatly appreciate your support, and by purchasing a ticket, you are contributing to this cause.

  11. Publicity: By entering the Fundraiser, you consent to the use of your name, image, and any other relevant details for promotional and marketing purposes, without further compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, social media posts related to the Fundraiser and the renovation, and the Sharp Projects website.

  12. Privacy: Sharp Projects will handle all personal information. Your details will only be used for the purpose of this Fundraiser and will not be shared with any third parties without your consent.

  13. Decision: Sharp Projects' decision in relation to the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  14. Liability: Sharp Projects, the Trades, their affiliates, and their employees are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage incurred by entrants in connection with this Fundraiser, including any damage to property or any other issues arising from the bathroom renovation or the winner or Recipient’s participation in the Fundraiser.

  15. Force Majeure: Sharp Projects is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations if the failure is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.

  16. Modification or Cancellation of Fundraiser
    Sharp Projects reserves the right to modify or cancel the Fundraiser at any time, including due to unforeseen circumstances or changes in regulations that may affect the Fundraiser’s operation. Any changes will be posted on     https://www.raffletix.com.au/?ref=u2mzd.
